Cruise Ship packing list

A straight forward packing list for your upcoming cruise.

AND what you DON'T want to forget to pack on your next cruise!!

For our 5 nights away, I only packed in a carry on suitcase and a backpack. This was very doable and saved money with the airline and the headache of having a bigger bag to mess with. For a Caribbean cruise ship vacation, you really only need what you would bring on a beach vacation minus the bigger clunkier stuff (cooler, beach chairs, umbrella, etc.)

  • Theme night outfits (70’s, Caribbean, formal)

  • Daily outfits (shorts, flowy pants, tanks)

  • Light jacket for dinners if you tend to get cold

  • Hoodie or casual jacket

  • Rain coat (didn’t need this, but I like to have one just in case)

  • Comfy airplane outfit

  • Sneakers-socks

  • Casual sandal

  • Dressy sandal

  • Hat

  • Sunglasses

  • Fanny pack

  • Beach bag (recommend one that zips closed)

  • Floating waterproof phone case (shore excursions)

  • GoPro/Camera

  • Chargers for phone, headphones, kindle, etc

  • Hair supplies (brush, hair ties, styling cream)

  • Toothbrush/paste

  • Shampoo, conditioner, bodywash (bathrooms on ship had a 3-in-1)

  • Face wash and creams

  • Sunscreen

  • Lotion

  • Makeup

  • Pajamas

  • Swimsuits

  • Coverup

  • Books/Kindle

  • Headphones

  • Razor

  • Deodorant

  • Watch

  • Medications

  • AirTag

YOU WON'T WANT TO FORGET THIS:

  • Cruise approved power strip

  • Snorkel and mask if you are someone who plans to do this

  • Reusable water bottle

  • Passport, luggage tags, boarding documents

  • Download your cruise ships phone app

  • Backpack for when you first arrive on the ship with anything you may want or need before you can get into your room

  • Lanyard with a plastic card holder to keep your Ship Pass/Room Key easily accessible and available
